I was suprised on how easy and cheap it is to send expired coupons to our troops stationed out of the US. I just adopted two military families to send expired coupons to. And they are in high demand for more US coupons because they can only get a few store coupons (not mfr.) overseas. They can not get the good mfr. coupons we get here in the States.
Did you know that our troops stationed overseas and their family can use expired coupons up to 6 months past the expiration date?
◾No going to post office!
◾No international paperwork!
◾Only costs you two stamps to help mail a business size envelope full of about 115 – 125 coupons to a military family or a military hospital. Amount of coupons depend on coupon sizes. If all small coupons could possibly sometimes fit 150 coupons
How to Help
◾Read the pinned post for more group rules and information.
◾ Then you private message the group administrator (the lady who wrote the pinned post in the group) to get an address to mail coupons, too. She has been mailing coupons overseas for 3 years. You can choose to mail to a military hospital address or adopt one or more families depending on how many expired coupons you may have. I told her I sometimes have 10 inserts and she suggested I could adopt 2 families and they share my expired coupons.
◾ If you choose to adopt a military family you will friend the wife on Face Book to communicate when you mail out and when they receive! The group administrator will private message you with a name of a military wife and her overseas address. Then you find the wife’s Face Book profile in the group members section to PM (private message her) to introduce your self, ask what kind of coupons they might need, and let them know when you are mailing. You also can post and tag them in the group to let them know when you are ready to mail out coupons. The pictures on Face Book also brings the rewarding feeling alive when you see your adopted military families! ❤️
◾If you do not have a lot of time to adopt a family you could still choose the option to easily mail coupons to a military hospital, too. There is also a big need for this option, too.💖
