If you do not read coupon blogs daily or follow them on social media you will miss out on some of the best free samples, good printable coupons that will go fast, new weekly deals, couponing tips, and more. Also, a good deal could turn into a free or money maker the next day.
You will also want to read the coupon blogs for new updates for the store you are planning to shop for new deals or better coupons. Look in the blog comments, the blog brag sections or look for updates. For example on Krazy Coupon Lady’s site you can look under the stores weekly matchups for new deals for your store. While most other blogs will have new store deals above the weekly matchups in the store’s section.
You can also read coupon matchups for your store to find new or better deals that the other coupon blog did not know about yet.
Most of these websiyes are for coupon deals I use in the United States. If you are in Canada scroll way down to the bottom for some resources.
I watch two of my favorite coupon blogs every day and follow the rest on social media. One is for my local grocery stores and one for my National Drug Store Deals and other National Deals.
Coupon Blogs I love:
Living Rich with Coupons
This is the 1st website I use to look for preview deals (usually on Wed, Thurs, or Friday) for the drug store deals. I like to print coupons for the best deals before all the other websites start reporting the freebie, money maker and best deals.
I always read KCL’s Drug Store Deals and Walmart deals she posts on Saturday.
When I was learning to coupon I read lots of other store deals too because she words the deals better for new couponers. Once I got the hang of those stores I started venturing out to other bloggers who posted deals sooner than KCL for some stores.
I used this blog alot many years ago when I was trying to decide whether or not to stock up on deals. I would still suggest it for new couponers. I loved that her master store matchup deals where all in order of the most % off at the top. She also tells you the percentage off you are saving on each deal in a chart. I have been lazy and not using her blog anymore for few reasons. I hate logging on to see the main master lists – couponing is enough work already! I also started finding deals quicker on other blogs with no annoying login requirement. Third, I do not need to learn the stock up prices any more.
I mainly use her site to find Kroger deals, Meijers deals, and other local stores close to me. She is located in the same state (Michigan) as me to help me find smaller local grocery stores and other non grocery regional deals.
I sometimes watch for her Target, Krogers, Walmart, and Drug Store deals. I use this website less now only because I am in Michigan and she covers alot of stores not buy me (like Publix, Harris Teeter, etc.).
Hip 2 Save usually has the best Target deals. I usually look for Target deals late Saturday here and then again later for any updates or new deals. I also follow her on Face Book for other deals she may find (like Walmart).Again, she covers alot of stores not buy me so check out her stores on her website.
Again, Carrie is not close to my area so I mainly read her Target and Walmart deals. But I see alot of stockup deals for other regional stores (like Homeland) not by me. I follow her on Face Book look for Carrie Arthurs Loper or her Face Book group Coupon Closet Chatroom.
A Mitten Full of Savings
If you shop at Meijers you will want to follow Tatanisha Pitts Worthey’s blog here in her Meijers Face Book group. Look at her pinned post for lots of resources and links for weekly matchups. She covers other Meijer store regions not in Michigan, too. I love it when she stacks (mfr + store ) coupons at Meijers!
Blogs I love conclusion
I follow other blogs for updates and deals my favorite bloggers might miss.
I will sometimes share these other blogs in our Face Book groups “How to Extreme Coupon” and/or “freemoneymakingapps“. You can also look on my Face Book profile – Cat Wils (picture of minion using apps) and look at the blogs I like and/or look at the coupon groups I am in.
Reading Blog Tips : Why to read coupon blogs at diffrent times of the week and month.
Watching Coupon Blogs at the Beginning of the Week
➡look at and finish any new store matchups that you did not get ready on Saturday.
➡watch for new updates
➡Read the bottom of the coupon blogs or the comments on social media for questions from other readers. Examples of stuff I might look for in comments.
-problems of the deal not working
– and answers on how to avoid the deal not working
– comments that coupon or deal is gone
– readers might comment on a deal that the Coupon Blog missed like a better coupon ,rebate, catalina, etc.
Watching Coupon Blogs end of the week
Coupon blogs will tell you the best coupon matchups for the next week before the deals start. Some of them you will need to print the coupons before they are gone.
Look for the Sunday Coupon Preview which tells you what Inserts will be in the Sunday paper and samples of some of the coupons. This helps you decide how many papers to buy.
Coupon matchups could improve with new coupons, catalinas, or deal ideas. Always look for updates before you go to your store.
Watching Coupon Blogs the middle of the week
Some stores (like Krogers) the new coupon matchups start mid week. So you will want to start watching for previews and full coupon matchup lists prior to the new sales start.
Watching Coupon blogs end of the month
At the end of the month read the coupon blogs more carefully for deals ending before the end of the week. Look more carefully at the sales end dates. Some stores have monthly sales or deals ending. A lot of the Printable Coupons End or Reset at the End of the Month. Normally, I say not to print coupons till a great deal pops up, but at the end of the month you may what to check www.coupons.com for coupons that will be gone on the 1st. I do not print every coupon. To save on ink I only print ones I know I will probally use. I print coupons for stuff I regulary buy at the end of the month. Then save for a sale. I would look at brands I always buy or Seasonal Coupons. For Example, July 31 st I would look to print school supply coupons and save for the great August School Supply Sales that happen every year.
Some store coupons end at the end of the month too.
One example is Walgreens monthly coupon books end around close to the end of the month. I like to watch for the Cottonelle toilet paper Walgreens coupons that often go in the monthly coupon books. Often I stack a store coupon with both manufactor coupons and threshhold point booster coupons. Like a spend $10 and get $2 back in points. If there is no threshhold coupons (either mailed to me or in the weekly ad) I do not buy and wait till later in the month to stock up because I know the expiration dates for monthly coupon and mfr. coupon is far away. But, if it is at the end of the month I might by without a threshold coupon (and just stack store + mfr. coupon) because I need to stockup for the next stock up price.
Watching Coupon Blogs Daily at beginning of the Month
New deals will be popping up fast if the first of the month is in the middle of the week. Check your favorite coupon blogs for new deals. As new coupons become available and new monthly store offers start, the coupon blogs will start finding new great deals.
