On March 1, 2016, Snap will be changing to a Savings Coupon type app and will not offer product-specific cash back rebates. Snap claims the upcoming offers will “include retailers such as Macy’s, Best Buy, WalMart, and Target! For a preview of these deals, check out the Coupons section on Groupon.com.”
What does this mean for my existing Snap balance?
If you have a balance of $20 or more, you can request a check within the My Account section of the menu.
If you have less than $20 in balance, Snap will be giving you an equivalent amount in promotional Groupon Bucks rounded up the nearest $5 on March 3rd using the email address they have on file with Snap. You will be able to use your Snap email and password to access you new Groupon account starting on March 3rd.
Beware: your Groupon Bucks will expire on Sept. 1, 2016!
Snap also states “If you don’t have a balance on Snap (or have cashed out already), we will also be creating a new Groupon account for you in the event you don’t have one.”

I am no longer using Snap until after the change because of the current cash out limit gives no time to cash out again. I am keeping thhe app to see how good the saving coupons will be after March 3rd 2016. Here is the info I wrote before the news of it changing. I will miss the rebates.
Snap by Groupon App has alot of really high Rebate offers AND alot of them can be used more than once! The offers are limited to so many users, so the best ones can go fast. You can add the rebates you want to a shopping list. Shop. Then submit your receipt ASAP to get paid back $ into your Snap account.
Examples of Past Rebates:
The Huggies wipes Rebate for $2 off any Wipe went fast cause they were Free after rebate at Target and other stores. Other Snap Rebates I have redeemed are $1 rebate Any milk, $3 rebate Huggies Diapers, $1 back any bread and many more. I have been using coupons with these rebates too.
Link to find Snap. Hurry add offers to your shopping list before they are gone! If you want the Snap App click here from your device. If you will be using Snap with your computer then click here from your computer! Click here. Select get App. Then scroll way down to bottom to chose Google Play Store or Apple iStore.
Snap is a new Scan Receipt $ App similar to Ibotta, Checkout 51, Shopmium, and Saving Star. You select Rebate offers you want, shop at any store, and scan your receipts to get money back into your Snap Account.
You will need a computer or a smartphone. If you want the App you will need a Android or an iPhone. You do not need the App to redeem the Rebates you can also redeem Rebates by uploading pictures of receipts on Snap’s website.
Is there a cash out limit?
Yes, the cash out limit is $20, so think of it as a Savings Account where you will get your money back later.
