The Coupons.com app has changed big time and for the better. Coupon.com recently changed so that you can only print 2 coupons per phone number so having the coupons.com app to print extra coupons makes no sense now. They now have offers you can do with out printing coupons. I was never able to use the coupons.com app prior to this change because my wireless printer was so old so I love this new option. We are also getting way less Red Plum coupons in some areas also.
How it Works
Depending on your store their is three possible options. You will want to watch the symbols in front of your favorite stores to see what the app wants you to do.
#1 Add coupons to your store loyalty card & shop
If your store has a loyalty card you will be loading digital coupons to your store loyalty card before shopping to save. Some stores that you will want to give coupons.com your store loyalty card info before loading coupons are Dollar General, Safeway, Shaw’s, Winn-Dixie, Food Lion, Giant Food, Acme, Carrs, Jewel-Osco, Martins, Randalls, Pavilions, Shop Rite, Star Market, Stop & Shop, Tom Thumb, and Vons.
#2 Select savings you want, shop, and scan your receipt for money back via Pay Pal
And some stores (like Walmart, Target, Costco and Sam’s Club) have no store savings card or they might prefer you scan your receipt for the money back. So if your store has a camera symbol in front of it . Then you will select the savings you want, shop, and then scan your receipt to get money back.
#3 Directs you to the stores own website to load digital coupons
Some stores (like Kroger’s, Baker’s, City Market, Dillons, Food 4 Less, Fred Meyer, Fry’s Food Stores, Gerbes, Jay C Food Stores, King Scoopers, Owen’s, Pay Less, Quality Food Centers, Ralphs, Smith’s Food & Drug Stores, prefer you only load digital coupons on their own store’s website. These stores also will have a store card symbol in front of them in coupons.com menu. But the app will direct you to your stores website to load digital coupons. So you can still add coupons to your store card through the app but it will direct you off of the app and onto the store’s website to load the digital coupons. Seems so much easier.
Wish it had more stores
This is a new change so I hope coupons.com will partner with more stores. If you do not see your favorite store on the coupons.com app they suggested we contact the stores not on the app to tell them you would like them to partner with coupons.com. My idea on this is it might take more than one request for our stores to partner with coupons.com so be sure to tell your money saving friends to make requests also.
